Peilapalap, Pohnpei: September 19, 2025 – Governor Stevenson A. Joseph recently welcomed Koa Benjamin, an 8th grade student, for a special meeting focused on leadership and public service. During their conversation, Koa asked the Governor thoughtful questions about his inspiration to pursue a career in public service, what he hopes to accomplish for Pohnpei, and the greatest challenges he faces as Governor.
Governor Joseph shared that his inspiration comes from a deep love for Pohnpei and a commitment to serving its people. He encouraged Koa and other young people to stay curious, work hard, and focus on building a strong future for their communities.
The Governor commended Koa for his interest in leadership and public service, noting that it is young people like him who will help shape the future of Pohnpei.
