Peilapalap, Pohnpei—Acting Governor Herolyn S. Movick and FSM Social Security Administration (FSMSSA) Administrator, Mr. Leon Panuelo Jr., jointly officiated a handover ceremony at the Office of the Acting Governor on November 12, 2025. The event marked the official turnover of office space at the Pohnpei Transportation Authority (PTA) in Kolonia to the Pohnpei Branch of FSMSSA.
The temporary relocation of FSMSSA services to the PTA premises comes as the Pohnpei Branch office undergoes much-needed renovation. This arrangement ensures that the FSMSSA can continue to provide uninterrupted services to the public during the renovation period.
Also in attendance were PTA Acting Commissioner Mr. Raynard Bardelas and members of the PTA Board, including Chairman Mr. Salvason Salvador, and members Mr. Iso John Adolph, Mr. Dahker Abraham, and Mr. Cassidy Shoniber. Deputy Administrator FSMSSA, Francky Ilai, Branch Manager Ms. Felixtina Oliver Irons, and her staff were also present to witness the turnover.
Acting Governor Movick commended the spirit of cooperation between government institutions, emphasizing that such collaboration reflects the shared commitment to serving the people of Pohnpei and the Federated States of Micronesia effectively.
