PALIKIR, POHNPEI— Acting Governor of Pohnpei State, the Honorable Herolyn S. Movick, paid her first official visit to the President of the Federated States of Micronesia, His Excellency Wesley W. Simina, at the Office of the President in Palikir on November 12, 2025.
The meeting marked Acting Governor Movick’s first official engagement with the President since her election as Lieutenant Governor of Pohnpei State. The discussion was cordial and productive, underscoring the strong partnership and continued cooperation between the National and State Governments.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the management and implementation of Infrastructure Management Fund (IMF) projects in Pohnpei State, ensuring alignment between the National and State Governments on priorities, coordination, and project execution.
Also present during the meeting were the Secretary of the FSM Department of Transportation, Communication and Infrastructure, the Honorable Carlson D. Apis, Special Assistant to the President for State Affairs, Mr. Jack Harris, and Chief of Staff to the President, Mrs. Yolanda Joab Mori. Representing Pohnpei State was Mr. Daniel Isaac, Administrator of the Pohnpei State Office of Transportation and Infrastructure.
