Joseph of Pohnpei State, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), delivered a landmark address announcing two pivotal national climate initiatives — the FSM Methane Reduction Roadmap 2026–2035 and FSM’s Third Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0).

In his remarks, Governor Joseph reaffirmed FSM’s leadership in global climate action, emphasizing the nation’s determination to take bold steps toward low-emission and climate-resilient development despite its minimal contribution to global greenhouse gas emissions.
