Peilapalap, Pohnpei, FSM: October 7, 2025 — Governor Stevenson A. Joseph welcomed representatives from JANUS, a leading Japanese consulting service specializing in energy, environment, and economy, during a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening international collaboration and advancing sustainable development initiatives in Pohnpei.
The JANUS delegation included Ms. Masumi Emi, International Business Unit, Environmental Consulting Department, and Mr. Hidenori Ishiguro, Sub Manager and Consultant, International Business Unit. The visit provided an opportunity for open dialogue on renewable energy solutions, environmental management, and economic growth strategies tailored to the unique needs of Pohnpei.
